Sevco’s Gibbering Lunatics Are Already Screaming “Conspiracy” Over Their Failed Quest For Second.

Its funny how allegations of conspiracies and the dreaming up conspiracy theories in football are allowed for some and not by others.

Celtic fans, for decades upon decades, maintained that there were teams, players, managers, referees and administrators within the SFA who were severely anti Celtic and vehemently pro the now dead Rangers. And through all of it we were told to sit down and shut up.

We could cite proof.

It was there in membership rolls of certain organisations.

It was there in the evidence we saw with our own eyes, in moments and games that were blatantly obvious.

Hell there were even a number of high profile admissions by players and managers over the years.

The greatest proof of it was to be found in the sacking of the SFA Chief Executive Jim Farry, who deliberately held up the registration of one of our players to hinder us in a bid to win the title and a Scottish Cup.

This was proved conclusively by Celtic and Fergus McCann and as such Farry had to go.

Regardless of these issues, we were repeatedly told we were just conspiracy theorists, fantasists, fundamentalists.

Basically, we hated losing and had to blame everyone else.

Years on we know now that it was worse – it was far worse – than anyone dared to imagine. Forget individuals and individual games … for over a decade Rangers was paying its players with the proceeds of a tax scam and with-holding documents from the governing bodies.

Or perhaps not. The guy who sat at the apex of those bodies was, after all, the very same one who signed the document which birthed the tax scam in the first place.

That’s not a conspiracy theory … it is an incontrovertible, documented fact.

There are conspiracy theories and there are conspiracies.

Charles Green alleged one when Rangers died and Sevco was born; the club was denied a place in the SPL because of “hatred.”

And there I thought it was because the rules say new clubs start at the bottom.

Charles Green and the press and Sevco fans shouted from the rooftops that it was a bent decision … people in the media and elsewhere still argue this today.

We call it The Victim Lie.

It couldn’t possibly have been that rules were followed and that the club itself was entirely at fault for the fate that brought it low.

They have been banging on about such nonsense ever since.

No-one likes them and they don’t care.

But they certainly like to moan about it regardless.

It has continued through their six year history, including the past few weeks.

Celtic, they claim, lay down to Hibs as we wanted to beat them at Celtic Park to confirm the 7th title.

Then today we lay down to Aberdeen to stop Sevco finishing 2nd.

Ibrox Noise has one of its hysterical articles up about it even now … we spoiled our own title party, just to deprive them of a place that doesn’t matter and £500,000 which their sites have spent a whole week telling us they won’t need when the “big investment” arrives.

Read the following line; it reeks of paranoia.

“Celtic were willing to ditch an unbeaten home record just so (we) didn’t finish second.”

The article itself dribbles madness.

It is part egocentric and part gibbering lunacy.

You’d think the media would be shooting holes in this nonsense.

Remember after Dunfermline? All those mainstream media people saying “professionals don’t deliberately lose games”?

Already, tonight, that line has been dispensed with.

The conspiracy theorists are “entitled to their opinion”.

It is further proof that these morons are pandered to.

They are already spouting their shite about how Stevie Gerrard will win the title in his first season – another article later on – and that would be their own lookout except that we now face a summer of similar triumphalism every day in the press.

When wee Fergus came back from Canada and looked into Scottish football, he asked why we allowed all these people to stand together against us and shout us down. He was appalled that we did not fight to change it. He tried, but in some ways it still hasn’t changed.

Except now we’re at the top of the pile, and staying there.

And over at Ibrox they’ve begun their descend into madness and paranoia.

Look at their forums tonight and you’ll see it everywhere.

Dave Campbell is honestly bewildered about how nutty the Peepul actually are.
