Over the last week or two, the nonsense on the Sevco fan forums has reached fever pitch.

What started as a squirrel run after the Scottish Cup semi-final beating we handed to them on Beautiful Sunday soon ramped up into something more; a moment of left-field nonsense in their hunt for a brand new manager. Or so it seemed to be.

By the time Beautiful Sunday II had ended, Sevco were on the brink of sacking Murty and, apparently, on the brink of confirming Gerrard as the new boss.

If it seems too good to be true for Celtic fans, then take a breath cause it was true all right.

And today the deed was done.

The reaction across Sevconia was mixed when the story first broke; the idea that they would appoint an Under 18 coach with no managerial experience as boss was greeted with stunned disbelief, and even anger. But this is the most gullible support in the world, and spoon-fed nonsense by tame hacks and with their own fevered imaginations running away from them, a lot of them have convinced themselves that what was once so obviously madness actually seems sane.

There is so much wrong with these Peepul it’s hard to know where to start.

So let’s cover the main points one at a time, in a bid to bring a little light, a little truth, into their lives.
