Well, if we get through in Armenia the second round will see us travelling to Rekjavic or Rosenborg and should we go through there we’ll be facing two more rounds to reach the Champions League Groups. As tough at tie as Rosenborg would be, the level of opposition improves dramatically from this point though, and it’s going to be very difficult.
But the first four ties are now known.
UEFA have made this competition harder than it had to be for us.
All clubs from the so-called lesser nations now have this minefield to navigate.
The chances are we’ll be playing Rosenborg.
We know them well. We went through against them last year. It’s a harder tie than we would have wanted at this stage; we just have to trust that the team will be ready for it and that Brendan will have new players in time.
As tough as that one will be, even tougher games are waiting for us.
This is an incredibly tough passage.
These will be hard games.
We’re not guaranteed to go through.
But we should.
