Legia Warsaw have tonight confirmed that their right Juranovic will be leaving the club.

He will be a Celtic player by the end of the week.

It brings to an end a summer of speculation and transfer madness, and in a very satisfactory way. We have our right back.

Juranovic is a full international.

This is really good business. Ange clearly played a major part in getting this over the line. His sign off on any target we’re linked with has been critical to the success of the last few deals.

He knows exactly what he wants and he has to be credited, along with the club itself, for the way he is going about his assembling this team.

Ange has now brought in a good number of first team footballers.

There are undoubtedly more to come. A new striker seems to be one of the priorities and it would be good to get that deal done whilst Edouard was still here. If the big guy goes, we have a replacement.

If he stays our firepower is majorly enhanced. It’s Chris Sutton’s “win-win” scenario.

You can feel a little bit for Anthony Ralston here.

He has barely put a foot wrong in the team.

He will be a more than capable deputy; nobody will be concerned, any longer, about putting him into the team for key games. He has proven that he gets what the manager is trying to do, and it was good to see him with Ange at the presser yesterday.

Still, the manager has signed off here and one of the key characteristics of Ange so far has been how solidly unsentimental he is.

He will not pick players based on reputations, only performances, and as he has pointed out there will be a lot of games which means that there will be a lot of opportunities for Ralston and others to play as the season goes on.

This maintains the feel-good factor.

It keeps the club looking strong. We can go into the game tonight with optimism not only for this one but the season ahead. It’s another major brick in the wall, another part of the Ange Postecoglou puzzle.

I am very excited for how this team is developing. When we bring in the striker we’ll have something special here, and in fact we might not be done with the signings even then.
