Celtic Has A Manager And Clickbait Hacks Should Stop Acting Otherwise.

Last night, I posted a piece scorning Alan Nixon of The Sun for his disgraceful article on Shevchenko and how Celtic “might” be willing to look at him “if” they decide Ange Postecoglou isn’t getting the job done.

It was a scandalous piece of speculative trash.

Today, there’s another piece of scandalous speculative trash as one of the online repositories of click-bait guff links John Terry to the job.

A job which is miles too big for him, a club whose fans wouldn’t tolerate a racist in the dugout, a club – by the way – which already has a manager.

Which should be the main point, except that it allows them to have a dig at Ange.

It is no surprise that the media is using every line of attack it can, or that the clickbait sites will try to squeeze any headline they can out of us, but this is profoundly lazy and stupid even by the standards of some of the sites where this stuff appears.

Celtic fans want results, but only a handful honestly think Ange isn’t the right guy to get them, and many of those made their minds up on day one and steadfastly refuse to change them.

Neither of the “candidates” who emerged over the weekend is even remotely exciting or interesting and Terry’s baggage is automatically disqualifying even if a vacancy existed.

These people can’t even be bothered to put imagination into their nonsense.

But even if they were it would still be reprehensible to be writing this undermining stuff when there’s a guy in the job striving to do good and honest work.

These people, in their hunt for hits, have absolutely no shame.

Celtic fans should not be liking or sharing any of it.
