Nobody “Piled The Pressure On Celtic” Today. We Still Know What We’ve To Do.

Ignore the headlines screaming at us this evening as we prepare for tomorrow’s game.

The Ibrox club won today, but they needed a goal with nine minutes left to do it. It was one of only two shots they had on target in the game. They didn’t have all that many off target either according to the stats.

They huffed and puffed and got lucky near the end.

Celtic aren’t under any additional pressure.

Tomorrow brings difficulties enough without worrying about what other clubs do.

Remember, as long as we focus and win the matches in front of us there is nothing anyone else can do. We aren’t looking for snookers here. We simply have to show up and keep on getting the results.

And I think we will. I think this league is ours to lose.

They have it to within goal difference right now. Big deal. Once we’ve got tomorrow out of the way we don’t play for eight days. That will let a lot of players get a free midweek for the first time in ages.

We will be fresh for Dundee Utd in the cup, and the three-point lead, if we win, will loom large in their thinking until league business comes around again.

That’s not for a fortnight, when we’re at home to Ross County.

They have to go to Dundee twice, first in the cup and then in the league.

They will not enjoy either experience especially as they have two Europa League matches to play around them.

Following that, it’s Them versus Us at Ibrox … and if we’re still three points clear going into that (or better) then any result will make us overwhelming favourites with six games left to go.

Remember that above all; they are running out matches.
