The great André Hansen and Rosenborg withstood the pressure from the Scots in Glasgow for a long time, but then the fans’ favourite came and defeated the Norwegian team at Celtic Park. Four minutes before the end, substitute Leigh Griffiths knocked in the decisive goal after some weak defensive play.

The ball landed at the feet of the substitute who had lurked behind the back of Tore Reginiussen. The 28-year-old delivered a clinical conclusion in front of 60,000 demanding home supporters. Then he had been on the field for ten minutes, and the goal was in the air as the match developed. If you were betting on this game, the adrenaline must have been kicking in!  The Norwegians vs. The Scots

For a long time, Rosenborg delivered an almost flawless defensive game at Celtic Park. In addition, goalkeeper André Hansen delivered an insane double save just before the break that kept the Norwegian team in the game. At the end of the settlement, Celtic came with the expected storm at home, and then Rosenborg could not keep away from the Scots.

Rosenborg met Celtic for the third time in just over a year on Thursday night. The first half was a  poor chance at Celtic Park. Rosenborg was compact backwards, and managed to keep the ball in the team for large parts of the inning. For 40 minutes, it wavered back and forth, without any great chances for the teams.

But just before the break, it exploded in front of goalkeeper André Hansen. The Scots suddenly came to an end, but André Hansen in the Rosenborg cage was in super shape. Tom Rogic fired a shot that had a nice direction towards the corner, but there was, of course, an elongated Hansen and it was saved. The ball bounced off again to Edouard, who got the finish again, but Hansen defended again with a masterful save and had the ball hit to the corner kick.

Rosenborg got rid of the storm at the end of the round and went to the break with a positive feeling. Although it looked like the Norwegian team could pull it off, it was not enough in the end, and the team had to leave the field without a win. With this performance they will certainly be favorites for next year’s Premier League title
