Robbie Neilson Is Still Talking Gibbering Nonsense About Celtic’s Weekend Win.

One of the things that has always been bothersome about our sports media is that they do not ever follow up their questions and only Celtic bosses ever get to field the armour piercing ones in the first place.

If the hacks had any sense of seriousness about them at all those who sat at Robbie Neilson’s press conference today would never have let him away with it.

He continues to insist that his team “had us on the ropes.”

I wonder which game he thought he was watching. Not the one I was, where two of his side’s three goals came from the penalty spot and we put the ball in the net no fewer than six times from open play.

I wrote yesterday about how rare it is for an opposing manager to praise this team, even when there’s no doubt that we deserve it. Does the Hearts manager really think his team was particularly brilliant?

Does he really think that all they were guilty of was bad defending?

Furthermore, his idiotic claim that we “had to bring £20 million off the bench” to get the victory is insulting and ignorant in almost equal measure and a wilful distortion of reality.

We brought players off the bench as we do at around the same time in every single game.

I am confident that we would have won whoever we had on the park.

His bitching is pitiful. He lives in a fantasy if he thinks his was the better team. But then whenever he gets beaten by us he retreats into the same mind-set.

This is part of why he loses to us so frequently, because he refuses to accept that we’re a better side.

You’ll notice he has no hesitation in offering praise to Ibrox when they win. His team’s dire surrender to them was in stark contrast to the attitude and aggression they showed against us.

They looked, at the weekend, like a team playing its cup final, even if they were outclassed.

If he got half of that out of his team every week he’d be in a better place.

Ever heard of rope a dope Greyfriars Jobby?

We netted SIX times from open play to their ONE.

Yet Calimero Neilsen thinks they deserved something from the game.

    It’s an injuuuuuustice!

Funnily enough, I never hear him bleating and greeting when his team get beat by the big brithers down Ibrox way.

Mind you the Fearts always play the after you Billy system when they meet the big huns.

Neilsen is a total embarrassment and if I were a Hertz fan, (God forbid) I would be asking serious questions of this charlatan and hypocrite.

      The man’s an idiot.
“you can’t score 3 goals and lose 4”..Newsflash: EVERY 4-3 game EVER.
      Nov 1976-Willie Gibson, Hearts number 9 scores a hat-trick..result? Hearts 3-4 Celtic.
Nelson, McIness, Martindale etc are what’s wrong with Scottish football.
Horrible wee nasty men that are a curse on our national game.

  • Geoff says:

His tactics in the cup final with no shots and obviously none on target should have seen him shown the door against a team that had just lost after 120 minutes and penalties in draining heat.
Don’t understand how he is still in a job with his record.

  • Seppington says:

Question for Mr. Jambo Splatnose; if your team are so much better than us why aren’t they top of the league instead of Celtic? Could it be that your team is, in fact, pish? That they only raise their game against the best team in the league? That would be Celtic btw, your team NEVER bothers it’s erse against their Glesga cousins..

    Neilson is a tit, period.

  • Sammy says:

Pity his team didn’t put same effort and desire into every game as they do when they play Celtic.

  • Glengarnock 8 says:

Just let them think that. If he’s telling his players that, well, the next time we come up against them they’ll be cock sure but ripe for a rodgering! Unless, dare I say it VAR is still as bad.

  • Derek Mcwhinnie says:

Shadow of 1986 still hanging about tynecastle
He still complained about the ref even after they got every single decision going

  • Martin H. says:

Pathetic is the only way to describe this sad individuals comments, the ibrox club are crap and their biggest win this season was against his team, the barstewards lay down to them, can’t wait till tonights game, as the old saying goes, see naples and die.

  • Scud Missile says:

Lol what a bitter man the Hearts manager is,they will finish in the bottom 6 this season and then get hit with his P45.

  • Tommy healy says:

Robbie Neilson like his predecessors has never given any credit to Glasgow Celtic.
Everything is we were cheated or it was offside.
He cried his eyes out for Var stoll there is no pleasing him.
Like jimmy jambo jeffries before and Craig 1986* Dundee debacle) levien. The only way to shut them up is score goals they can’t chop them all off.
    Hail Hail ??

  • Whitearra says:

Possession stats something like 66%/33% but Celtic managed to commit more fouls. On the ropes my arse and parsley. Neilson continually noises up 4th official.

  • Peter Campbell says:

I was just annoyed that none of the hacks thought to ask him his thoughts on the penalty we were denied, while he was talking about how great his side were.
