Celtic got a home draw in the Scottish Cup tonight and their opponents are Greenock Morton. The home tie is always nice to get, and so we should all be quite pleased with that. The Scottish Cup is the one trophy that Ange didn’t win last season, and we’re all keen, I’m sure, to see him get his hands on that silverware for the first time.

It might seem to be early in the season to be talking about a treble, but we’re nine clear in the league and in the semi-finals of the League Cup already and so it’s not such a crazy dream to be harbouring, even at this early stage.

Morton will not be underestimated. We wouldn’t underestimate anyone, not even if we’d drawn my alma-mater at the University of Stirling. Our team will be focussed and our manager will drill into the players the importance of discipline, but it’s a straightforward enough game and we should be confident of going through to the next round.

In other news in the draw, Hibs drew Hearts in the game of the round. St Johnstone got the hapless Ibrox club and a chance to drive a nail into the coffin of the new Ibrox management team. I am sure that some of their players will relish that opportunity.

I think yer Sevco supporting( he said so in the build up) baw picker got the hot and cold balls mixed up. He wasn’t the brightest light on the tree tbh. Sevco hot, home, Celtic cold, second ball so away. Not only did we get a good draw at home v Morton, they’ve got the previous double winners away.
Can guarantee his shot on the goat was resinded PDQ.

I’ve every confidence that another treble, the first of the ‘Angeball Era’ will be duly accomplished, the first of many hopefully.

For the treble B365 were 7/1 bk in August, it’s now half that!

I hope we have Ange for another 5/6 years, his European challenge achieved and who knows where we’ll get to, exciting times ahead for All the Celtic Family

Great being a fan of Celtic FC atm, and long may it continue…
