Rumours continue to circulate about more deals for more players, and the next evolution of Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic vision. Even the Lawwell decision cannot completely sap the spirt of fans like myself who cannot believe what we’re witnessing.

Celtic operating not just from a position of strength but getting stronger and stronger by the day. We’ve spent big money already and the stories about who else we might bring in continue to pour in from every corner of the globe.

We can’t sign all these players, but if we even bring in a couple more of them you tell me how the Hell anyone is going to stop us winning this league? Even at the current time we’re way too strong for the domestic competition … this could put us out of sight.

Cho Gue Sung, mentioned as a striker.

Ambitious and ballsy, maybe too ambitious but if anyone can pull it then Ange can. Mohamed Magdy, mentioned in midfield. A class act and another one that seems wildly bold, but that’s where we need our thinking to be.

Even if this is succession planning, it’s the right kind.

It’s the right calibre. It’s the right level of intent, and should make the team even better than it is right now.

Two signings to the good before the January window is even open.

Plenty of latitude in which to respond to emerging threats and any developing issues. This revolution continues to move forward and the club seems as if it’s willing to keep funding the plan.

In the meantime, elsewhere they talk about closing the gap … but if they look out their window they’ll see that gap is becoming a gulf. It must be demoralising.

It must, in fact, be absolutely terrifying. I’ll have more on that subject later.
