The Celtic Boss Confirms Ibrox’s Worst Fear: That Kyogo Will Be Fit For The Cup Final.

According to online reports, The Boss has confirmed that Kyogo Furuhashi is fit and ready and raring to go for next week. Whether he’ll play tomorrow is still up for debate, I think, but he was back in training today and it looks good that he’s going to make it.

This is a boost, but I contend that even without Kyogo for the two coming fixtures I’d have been pretty confident of us winning them. We have quality in every department.

Maeda, Oh and even Abada could have played up front and I’d have been confident.

What some across the city struggle to comprehend is that the squad can cope without the absence of one player, but it’s good that he’s going to be ready for battle.

“Kyogo is fine, he trained today and had a session yesterday, so he is good to go,” the boss said. It wasn’t the only thing he talked about at his presser, and I’ll get to some of that later. He did confirm that Turnbull suffered a wee knock and will miss tomorrow.

But the Kyogo news is what the fans were wanting to hear.

This is the worst nightmare of the Ibrox support; virtually full-strength Celtic travelling to that final, on a great run of form and confident that no-one can beat us. All we have to do to make sure that we’re going there with that, and on fire, is to turn in a good performance tomorrow where nobody gets injured and we should be all good to go.

One game at a time has stood us in good stead, and I’m sure the manager will not be giving much thought to the final in his team selection … the three points are what matters right now.

But after they are secured and Aberdeen are out of the way, the focus will start on Hampden, and it looks like we’ll be going there with our best players available.
