Celtic is one of those great teams that continues to impress everyone with their great teamplay, powerful defense and creative attacks.
While they didn’t always have the best results, this particular season Celtic has been on a roll. And they did prepare quite a lot for this, since the entire season we saw Celtic bringing in their best training and offense in quite some time.

But in the past year, Celtic managed to surpass all expectations and now they beat the Hearts in order to set up a very interesting Scottish Cup final. A Glasgow derby in the final has been a long time coming, and fans are definitely clamoring for this clash of titans.
However, while we still have a bit until the match, there’s no denying that everyone is excited to see these matches and see how it will all end up. One thing is certain, the match against Aberdeen was not that simple. It was a true test for them because the match ended up testing Celtic more than a lot of people might have expected.
But in spite of a difficult day, Celtic won the game and the quest for the double is finally back on track and they are bound to bring their best game right now. Although it took a while for Celtic to really bring in their best, we think that they will have a lot to say over the next few weeks as they chase the silverware.
It’s exciting to finally see Celtic in such a position and hopefully they can progress through the rest of the campaign and secure the two prizes that are left.
A lot of folk were expecting Celtic to progress to as easy win; they lost the goal early on, but by half time they were back level. They were within a minute of going through in normal time and then Aberdeen equalised. A fine Matt O’Riley finish in extra time seemed to have put them in the final. Again, Aberdeen powered back. Joe Hart was the star man in the shoot-out, looking like he might be the villain before emerging as the hero.
Some people say that the standards have slipped across the Scottish game this season, but this doesn’t detract from the fact that Celtic look strong and that we are bound to have a very eventful Scottish Cup Final.
One thing is certain, the team have grown a lot as this season has progressed, and the great mental strength they can bring to bear sets them apart.
People that are passionate about Scottish football are definitely looking forward to the next few weeks, with the two big prizes up for grabs and the Glasgow clubs going head to head to secure them.
There’s a lot of excitement and fun to be had from both teams. Obviously, there’s plenty of banter, news and attention, and this all generates tons of excitement for not only the league but the Scottish Cup this year. And with both teams up for it, we can expect a very good finale to the season.
