Guys, I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed and agreed with this episode. I feel awful sometimes making negative comments when it appears the younger fans are buzzing. I’m Joe’s age and am sick of watching the same Celtic movie time and time again. It is soul destroying watching greed coming first. Tierney and Jota are so wrong on so many levels. Why would Rodgers want to stay after this season ends when he has a weaker team than last season at a time when we have so much money. No logic at all. Thank you lads for your rant, I’m glad I’m not the only one!
Bit of a contradiction to cite Alistair Johnston as the example of forward planning and then Juranovic as an example of selling a top player in January. That has been proven to have worked in Celtic’s favour and appears to have been an astute piece of business. Maybe, some people do know what they are doing. That said Frimpong might have been a better example to use to support the point being made. However, it might also be used as an example of good trading.
I am not sure everything is as simple as the trio would like to make out.
Imagine selling two brilliant players for a total of £50 m and bringing them back to the club a few years later aged 26/27 for about £8.
At the same time we sell a 30 year old player who is passed his best for £10m.

Brilliant reposted to doomsayers.
Sorry Dan, but Tierney is very much a Rodgers’ choice.
