Well, MY FELLOW CELTIC FANS, CELTIC ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF SCOTLAND AGAIN!!

Celtic have secured a fourth title in a row and the 55th title in the history of the club. Brendan Rodgers’ side won another championship, at Tannadice Park, hammering Dundee United 5-0 and from the very start of the match, I have to tell you, it was pure joy to watch this Celtic game, because for me, as a Celtic fan, it means so much when we win matches, any matches, whatever’s at stake in them.

The match started with a minute’s silence to commemorate the death of Pope Francis, who passed away this Monday. I have to admit, it was very emotional. I’m so proud that my beloved Celtic FC and fellow fans share the same precious values, faith, and roots as mine, and I’ll never regret being part of this brilliant green and white family.

The first half started a bit slowly. As I said at the very beginning of the game: “Bhoys, you need to push harder, not just pass the ball but create real chances to score goals,” and I tell you what, that actually helped!

In the fifth minute, Celtic hadn’t scored yet and Dundee United almost snatched a goal, but it was defended in tremendous fashion by Sinisalo, our fantastic Finnish goalkeeper, as Kasper Schmeichel is still recovering from injury. Sinisalo saved the Bhoys again later in the half, pulling off another brilliant stop to deny Dundee United.

Let me remind you here that The Hoops have scored 102 league goals and conceded just 22 across the 34 matches they’ve played. The defensive side of our game isn’t credited enough, but it’s a big part of why we are the champions today.

Celtic began to impose themselves, pushing hard and there was no doubt about the outcome from the 27th minute when a corner from Arne Engels, our Belgian midfielder, was headed on by Liam Scales, and Jota was positioned perfectly to deflect the ball into the box, forcing it off Ryan Strain and into the net to make it 1-0.

Anyway, in the end, it was Jota, our tremendous winger who loves the club so much he returned to us, who scored the goal, and that was the inspiration for the Bhoys on the day. After that, they started scoring for fun.

Sadly, only five minutes later, Jota had to leave the pitch with a knee injury after a tackle from Allan Campbell, and Adam Idah came on as a substitute. The big man was to have a tremendous impact on the afternoon.

In the 38th minute, Nicolas Kuhn, Celtic’s dazzling German winger, made it 2-0 for the Bhoys, and it was brilliant to watch!

He has seemed a little off for a couple of matches, like he’d lost interest, but yesterday he proved he hadn’t. That goal was pure class.

Kuhn excels in one-on-one situations, using his agility and quick footwork to beat defenders. All of these skills have improved under the current boss. His finishing has also significantly improved, making him a more clinical threat, especially when cutting inside from wide areas. His quick turn of pace makes him a nightmare for defenders to deal with and yesterday we saw him bring the whole box of tricks out. It was glorious.

Not long after his first, Kuhn made it 3-0 for Celtic, scoring his second of the match. Let me quote my own words here: “Nicolas, you’re back! You proved today that you are a tremendous Celtic player and winger.”

The second half started pure fantastic for Celtic.

The Bhoys came out hungry, fighting even harder to score more goals. You could just feel that fire. Only a couple of minutes in, Adam Idah, our brilliant Irish striker, made it 4-0 in the 48th minute. Adam Idah showcased his strong aerial abilities, creating opportunities and showing real precision in his shooting yesterday. His ability to hold the ball up and bring others into the game was really valuable. Idah has been judged harshly at times by fans and media alike, but he’s proved again that he’s a tremendous player.

As James pointed out recently, he’s now got more than 25 goals for the club in only 16 months; if Norwich had been able to get that out of him they’d never have sold him, and certainly not for a sum as low as £9 million … he’s looking the part now.

The Hoops extended their lead to 5-0 when Callum McGregor linked up beautifully with Reo Hatate before driving into the Dundee United half. The Celtic skipper sent a pass through to Adam Idah, who calmly finished it off, scoring his second goal of the match and sharing the hero status of the day with Nicolas Kuhn.

And thus, Celtic are Champions again and have proven t they are the finest and most successful team, not just in Glasgow but in all of Scotland.

Celtic have secured the 55th title in our club’s proud history, and I think it’s high time you take your pals out and celebrate properly. Celtic fans, you have every right to be delighted! Our Glasgow Lions are now on the clear road towards another historic Treble in May, so fingers crossed for you, Bhoys.

I need to add that I’ll be part of these celebrations myself, joining my fellow Hoops fans in Glasgow to mark this dazzling moment. I cannot wait!
