So my fellow Celtic fans, the summer transfer window is about to swing open. Whether we see our beloved club packed with fresh blood and an improved, strengthened squad… well, we’ll know soon enough.

I’m hopeful we’ll see some positive changes.

I started writing about potential Celtic transfers in my last article, and I’ll tell you what, I just love diving into this stuff. So today, I’m continuing with more rumours, reports and whispers—some fantasy, some feasible—coming straight out of Celtic Park.

The one confirmed deal is Kieran Tierney who like Jota before him has come back to Celtic because he loves the club. That’s right, Tierney is back with the Hoops at Paradise, and in his interview with the fans, he expressed how grateful and happy he was to be pulling on the green and white hoops again.

“Honestly, I cannot wait and I can’t describe it. It will be emotional, for sure… It’s been a long time, we’ve had ups and downs in the last few years, so coming back here and walking out at Celtic Park will be just incredible,” he said. He also added: “My ambition is just for Celtic to be as successful as possible, retain our place at the top and continue to win trophies and do well for Celtic.”

Kieran Tierney is back home. Our left-back with a strong defensive presence, good speed and excellent ability on the ball is also a solid tackler. He’s back where he belongs, wearing the green and white with pride. Welcome back, Kieran. Now go out there and show them why we brought you back.

As usual, there’s a mountain of talk and rumours about who might be coming in this window. And we’ve got a new batch of ‘fresh’ potential signings to look at. Let me start with two names: Benjamin Nygren and Lennon Miller.

Benjamin Nygren is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a right winger for FC Nordsjælland. He’s known for holding onto the ball well, threading through passes and having a decent long shot on him. He’s being heavily linked with Celtic this summer, and talks are ongoing. There’s a strong sense that he might join the Hoops soon—but we’re not at 100% just yet. Maybe 90%. I’m hopeful we’ll get it over the line. He’s a young, talented and dazzling player, and I’d be excited to see him in the green and white.

Moving on to Lennon Miller—a player I reckon has been on the radar since the last transfer window. He’s a young Scottish midfielder playing at Motherwell, with a strong presence on the pitch and maturity beyond his years. He’s got leadership qualities, good positional awareness and technical intelligence. He’s exactly the sort of player we should be investing in. Whether he’ll be pulling on the Celtic shirt and scoring goals at Parkhead is still up in the air, but he’s a serious target and one to watch.

Now, let’s look at the next wave of potential names being linked with Celtic. The list includes Sondre Ørjasæter, Nilson Angulo, Callum Osmand, Fousseni Diabaté, Ege Tiknaz, Veljko Milosavljevi?, Bojan Miovski, Danny Ings, Evan Ferguson and Keita Kosugi.

Sondre Ørjasæter—what can I say? He’s been a reported Celtic target for so long now it’s starting to feel like folklore. Like Kvistgaarden, he seems forever just out of reach. He’s a Norwegian winger with pace, agility and real playmaking ability, particularly in terms of crossing and passing. Will we ever see him in the green and white? Who knows. But if it happens, I won’t believe it till I see it.

Next up, Nilson Angulo. He’s an Ecuadorian winger currently playing for EA Sports FC. Known for his dribbling skills, solid defensive contribution and ability to carve out chances, he’s another player being seriously considered. Whether he signs is still uncertain, but he ticks a lot of boxes. Rumours last week said we had made a bid for him which had been rejected, but we hadn’t yet given up.

Callum Osmand is another exciting link and this deal seems to be on the brink as well. He’s an EPL2 striker with 10 goals and 4 assists in just 17 appearances. His contract with Fulham is expiring, which puts him right in our price range. Word is he’s already undergoing a medical at Celtic, so we could be looking at our next signing. He’s young, talented and exactly the kind of forward we need.

Fousseni Diabaté is also being linked. He’s an attacking midfielder and winger, known for his dribbling, speed, and creativity—similar to our own Daizen Maeda. Diabaté isn’t just fast, he’s direct, and he’s got a real hunger to take on defenders. If he signs, I reckon he’d give our forward line a real spark.

Ege Tiknaz is another name doing the rounds. He’s a young Turkish defender currently with Rio Ave, prefers playing on the right, and wears shirt number 34. The speculation around him is growing, and while it’s still mostly talk, he’s one to keep an eye on.

Veljko Milosavljevi? is another defensive option we’re reportedly eyeing up. A tall, physical player with excellent aerial ability and good composure under pressure. From what I’ve seen and read, he’d be a great addition to our backline, and Brendan Rodgers would probably see real potential in him.

Bojan Miovski is another striker on the list—one I’ve mentioned before. The Macedonian hitman is a natural finisher, with a strong presence and a nose for goal. With Kyogo gone, we’re crying out for a proper number nine, and Miovski would be a cracking choice. Hopefully the board and Rodgers work together to get this one done.

Then there’s Danny Ings—an experienced striker with a sharp football brain, technical skill, and solid work ethic. He’s smart, makes great runs and is deadly in front of goal. He’d bring quality and leadership to the dressing room. It wouldn’t be cheap, but if we’re serious, we should go after him.

Evan Ferguson is also on the radar—a dynamic striker with brilliant technical ability, good strength, and bags of potential. He’d be an excellent addition and a proper long-term investment. If we can pull that off, I’d be buzzing.

To wrap things up, Celtic have a lot of work to do this summer—and we need to see serious cooperation between the board and Brendan Rodgers. If they’re on the same page, if they really push to get these deals done, there’s no reason we can’t build a squad capable of dominating domestically and competing in Europe.

This is my second article focusing on potential Celtic signings and transfer window activity, and you can bet there’ll be more to follow. So far, we’ve got Osmand undergoing medicals and Nygren in serious talks—maybe this marks the beginning of a real shift in how we do business at Celtic Park. Time will tell, but I’m watching this window closely… and I’ll keep writing about it as it all unfolds.

Good stuff Paulinha, it’s mostly all rumours but I still like checking the players we’re supposedly linked with if I don’t know them, even if transfer windows are generally frustrating. So far, I’m encouraged, I haven’t seen the Diabaté link so thanks for that I’ll have a look.
