  1. James, I get your drift here, but do you really think that anyone from ‘France or Spain it’s all the same’ is going to take any notice of Billy Dodds….Billy fkn who? Similarly when Paddy Bonner gave his opinion on Kuhn, no one of any consequence gave a shit about his valuation. Household names to us here in Scotland mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things, You will be quoting McAvennie next, God forbid! 🙂

    1. “Where’s ra birds” – He’s Away with them… And not ‘fucking’ away with them either !

  2. Good day James.

I was wondering if you could email me so I can give you details about me having my MSP contact GCC regarding last seasons title celebration and the GCC response which is frankly fucking infuriating and I’m not done with them yet but need more voices from the wider Celtic fan base and from people like yourself so we can get better treatment on title day.

Please contact me I will share me emails and the responses from the council

    Sara

  3. And yet Bonner’s valuation was pretty much spot on. Nobody here knows whether potential buying clubs listen to ex players in the media with connections to their former clubs like Dodds but I reckon his comments and valuation will be nearer the mark should the player move on than that of the DR or other rangers media promoting rags.
We done well to get what we did get for Khun, for a guy that gave us a good 6 months out of 18 and most comments I’ve read on here seem to support that also.

  4. We paid 9 million for Idah who’s scored high level goals in Cup finals and in the CL. Clearly this lad is not at Idahs level yet and we paid over the top so everyone knows they are chancers. They will be 5 tops for him. Fair point about the A team putting the boot in. It’s likely we will see that a few more times over the season. Maybe Michael Stewart can hold the jackets when Dodds barbies one of the other fuds.

  5. Maybe Baz is the new Murty when the Bat/Baz sign goes up he comes into the ‘caretaker-ing’ position for a short time giving him hope of a longer future in the brogues. LMFAO.

For the past few seasons, bloated, high paid squad have been their downfall eventually making nothing off their superstars who were demanding £15m in the Chinese market or Saudi market only to leave for hee-haw or a mars bar and a packet of crisps.

They pay out more than they should to transfer players in and pay them far more than they should based on new manager’s assessments then cannot get rid of them when the next guy pops by. Rinse repeat….

My expectation with the shadow consortium with the 2 visible heads (not 49er’s consortium misnomer) is that the first term, ie now, will be the most extravagant in terms of spend. Set up the PR spin, the big investment, get the fans onside.

The next few will be a little less lavish once the shadowy figures have bedded in where player trading may be when someone leaves for cash then there may be a percentage of that to re-invest. Other than that it will be freebies and their academy.

The shadowy figures have more important things to do in INVESTING their time into who gets what in their regular Onerous Enclaves.

They’e Doomed, Doomed I tell ye!!. They don’t like it up ’em.!

  6. Oh Hey – When thieves fall out then – That’s the classic case of that old saying for sure…

Canny see McCanny sayin anything as Celtic supporting turncoats like him seem to become the most loyal Sevco ones of the whole fuckin lot…

Aye… It’s a strange old world out there to be sure, to be sure !!!
