  1. You’re talking about fascists, who are now the main element in the sevco support.

A Buddhist Vegan manager of a team supported by Tommy Robinson wannabees.

    What could possibly go wrong?

  2. Irrelevant as they are, I just love stories that rip the huns whole personna into shreds. They are the source of enormous pleasure for me when I think back to their institutional hubris and entitlement back in those toxic days. Karma for the Tims is a never ending process in the modern era..

    Grrrreat Innit!

  3. Martin is a good enough manager. He has to be, he took a team from the Championship into the Prem. He struggled in the prem but the Championship is often boasted as the hardest league to get out of & he achieved that.
That only leaves the club & the expectations of the club to blame for the faults.
He’ll be gone soon enough but if they do stick with him I think he could make something of them. GVB was sacked for not towing the club line on finances after failing to compete in the CL. It was the best decision they made from our perspective because he was a legitimate manager who likely could have built something.
I think Martin has the potential to do the same but the viewpoints of the fans & him are miles apart & he is also not bothered about towing the club lines on what the club is. He is stirring the fans up with his comments because they don’t accept the reality he is talking about. The penny will drop for them at some point, it has too. Maybe if Hearts finish above them, even Hibs too will really drive home that they aren’t even second best & it’s not all down to the manager.
    I doubt it though.

    1. Jay, the phrase is ‘ toeing the party (club) line’. As in you can’t cross that Line/ Limit/ Position.

  4. What price Gerrard? Although if they do their homework Celtic lost the league as opposed to him winning it.

  5. I’ve never felt sorry for a Rangers/Sevco manager in my life but have to admit that I really felt for the guy at the weekend. Yes, the football has been dire and I get why they want change, but the levels of abuse are off the scale. And for anybody thinking about taking this job who thinks it will be different and he’s only getting the abuse because of recent results, this is a crowd who booed a team off at half time in a pre season friendly, their first of the season, against a team who did well in the Champions League last year. Think about that. They had made their minds up after 45 minutes of a friendly. God help anybody who takes on that job.

  6. If they get the slightest uptick in form they will keep him as they have spent the money and deliberately looked for a manager that does not extol the Ibrox culture. These people (whomever they are) are not stupid but savvy business men that live an ocean away. Changing him now would show weakness and open them up for more hissy fits in the future. I maybe wrong but I think he may be there to make the fanbase learn who’s club it is.

  7. McGarry in the National/Herald calling for his sacking, yep toxic is the right word for this club. If the Yanks cave in they will have given the hordes a message that they can be pushed around, any board who appoint a Manager in the summer should have the courage to give him until at least the New Year before sacking him, Martin has been ordered to cut the wage bill and that’s what the hordes can’t seem to understand their team has been living off directors financial support since 2012. This is financial reality kicking in.

  8. My goodness he will be delighted to get the boot and be out of his misery and pain for sure…

A painful lesson for him but hopefully a financially rewarding one as mitigation severance…

I know one Sevco guy that wouldn’t run a mile from if – Fergushun…

I know one ex Celtic supporter that would love it as well – McCann…

Other than that… Who fuckin knows who they’ll target…

Poisoned chalice for sure – Long May it last – I fuckin LOVE it !!!
