  1. While I think, as a fan, that the Summer is not our priority right now, as we have bigger fish to fry, you are correct to be thinking ahead Paulina. Their should be a strategy in place to sort out the pitfalls you have highlighted as we approach the end of the season and we can only hope that our board are no longer asleep at the wheel and are addressing these issues. Unfortunately, I have had to use the word hope, for I have no faith in our boardroom barnacles.

  2. Recruitment — given our current situation we should still be looking at free agents.
Our squad is paper thin / our dressing room is underperforming / our coaching is poor.

We should be working every angle to take things forward.
AOC even when half fit is still head and shoulders above our existing midfield.

The state of our defence is frightening.
Both CBs are the walking football dead and our FBs are work in progress x 4.
All can do something to fill a gap in a good defence.
But they are not players to build a defence around.

  3. Its not an IF kasper leaves, its when. He was brilliant last season, not so good this season so he needs to realise its time to retire. We need to give Sinasalo a chance or else have a damn good plan for a new keeper.
So many unknowns for next season that the board MUST be working on getting the new manager in ASAP at the end of the season- won’t hold my breath or we are screwed.
The orks finally seem to doing things properly so its time that our board take notice and wise up – starting with some new faces in there so we can get a decent manager ans a decent team together- again no breath holding here

  4. I don’t think there’s one right minded Celtic fan that thinks the board will be on top of this. It is the sheer levels of incompetence that angers me. They should be looking at potential managers now. Get him in ASAP so that he can target the players he wants and those he wants to move on. What I suspect will happen is that it will all be last chance saloon followed by excuses on why we couldn’t get players in. I can see is playing UCL qualifiers with a poorer squad than we have right now. I wonder what the board do all day? What are they doing right now to strengthen the club for our next campaign? Damn all I suspect. We need to get rid of this current lot and show DD that we will not meekly accept his new appointments.

    1. The huns should have been buried years ago and we should have been recruiting players to compete in Europe. And why are we not producing our own players at Lennoxtown and barrowfields???. Teams all over Europe produce players year after year after year. And any half decent players we do produce fuck off down south and elsewhere because they dont get a chance to progress to the 1st team because of thr dross we have imported over the last how many years!!!

  5. 100% correct BigStevie. Not only do our best young players sod off to other countries because of the lack of progression opportunities but the board are pleased with this. Any money generated from the young guys helps to off set the costs of the coaching set up. Further, the board should be withdrawing us from the Lowland league and putting in place a structure where young players can develop. If they are not going to do that, then get the best of them out on loan. I would like to see them bring in more competent youth coaches from abroad as it seems our ex-player model simply isn’t working. We can’t even win this Lowland league with our current setup.

  6. By the end of the season it’ll only be around 5 months since bringing back MON. That’s not nearly enough time for our board to fuck about dragging their heels. Expect a new manager announcement about a week or so before the start of the new campaign, which will probably be MON agreeing a short term deal till they can get it sorted….

  7. We are all passionate Celtic supporters on here but who in their right mind would work for that useless shower of bastards !
