  1. A weeks a lomg time in politics, and in football even more so. O’Neill was being castigated by our own support a few days ago, despited miraculously wringing juice out of a husk of a team that is almost done. Then on Thursday he gets us our first win in Germany. Truth is we need to trust this man and dont doubt him . There is no one better at this time. Surprisingly I think he is a better manager than many fans and bloggers who seem to know better. A win tomorrow will be difficult, and maybe unlikely, but with MON in the dugout, its possible.

  2. If we can manage a good result tomorrow, it would be the most extra special in a long time imo. Because the sheer volume of snide, nasty, disrespectful malice aimed at MON especially on social media, has been nothin short of despicable. Hope we can ram their venom down their necks.

  3. MON is as fly as a pet monkey — little goes by him.
So if this is his view of Govan FC then what is his view of those running our club?
He will have a view in spades but he won’t be telling us anytime soon.

Media work / interview management — that is where MON is at his best.
Coaching / tactics — Clough knew him too well and knew who was doing the heavy lifting.

Tomorrow is not a football game — it is a staring contest which is good for us.
It will be about who blinks first in a match between two limited teams.
They have little resilience and we have little appetite.

Usual provisos — Ludge MIB and Ludge VAR are the form players in the SPL.
Our only saviour is that they have played all their jokers over the past month.
Patterns are developing that can be seen from space and even our local media can now see them.

Crocker on Sky — now that is another matter.
Retirement would be a blessing all-round — he does not sound very energetic.

    Derby day in Glesga …
    Pass the sick bag Alice.

  4. Tomorrow it’s mcleans turn to do the dirt with var beathun has done his part there , the unseen hand hidden away from the naked eye , the tag team will have a lot to say tomorrow and let’s hope MON rips them a new one if they do a job on us , lets face it , their wired to do so

  5. I just hope the players bare their claws and attack the enemy with the same controlled passion as Martin.

    C’mon the Hoops.

  6. What happens to seemingly normal men when they don the brown brogues and take a sip from the loving cup. They turn into slabbering fools and talk complete nonsense.Martin is a wiley old campaigner and for sure he will have the team up for this

  7. His mask has definitely slipped…

Shame really cos I think he’s a gueniunely nice enough fellow…
