WOW, Celtic!
5 IN A ROW CHAMPIONS OF SCOTLAND!
How did you do it, Celtic? That was not just a show. That was you once again showing the rest of Scotland, Glasgow and the world who the real champions are.
Well, we just can’t get enough, and we covered Glasgow in green and white yet again! What a day, man!
As I said, all the doubters who were saying, “Oh, Celtic can’t do it,” or “Oh, Hearts will be champions,” or “Celtic have zero percent chance of winning the league,” can kiss ma arse right now, because, as per usual, they were all wrong.
What’s more, I can tell all of you doubters, Hugh Keevins, McInnes, Bryson, Ibrox fans and the rest of the media’s anti-Celtic vultures this: Celtic are champions again, whether you like it or not. Celtic took it all like real champions do. We stole the show. You can greet as much as you like. You may swallow your sorrows and choke on them.
Celtic are champions again!
You can’t say that when Celtic win games or titles, it is some kind of controversy, conspiracy or stolen title! McInnes, you have to come to terms with it, ya prick! You may greet until the end of your career. What did you think? That you could come to Celtic Park and win the title? No, no, no, man.
That throne of champions belongs to Celtic, and a wee naïf like you was never, ever gonnae steal it away. As I said, I don’t care about your complaints, because they don’t matter anymore. What matters the most?
Celtic are 5 in a row champions!
Coming back to the game, what the hell was that, man?
Let me remind you, Celtic have struggled through this season. I have to admit, that was the hardest season in modern Celtic history. Managerial changes, problems, tactics and systems that didn’t work, poor performances, a squad not strong enough, and a poor transfer window yet again.
But hey, look. Celtic can be beaten plenty of times. All the doubters can slag Celtic all they like. Ibrox fans can offend us at every chance they get. But Celtic never, ever give up.
That is Celtic’s mentality. To become champions time and time again. We can’t help it. We are propelled by destiny. Against the odds, whatever it takes. We do it. We make it. We don’t talk about it or hype it up or pose for pictures before the victories have come. Celtic don’t celebrate until it’s a fact. Not a fairy tale, dream or fable, but a fact!
Don’t you dare offend Celtic by saying they don’t deserve it. Celtic deserved to win this title all the way. So please, stop your nonsense, media doubters and the rest of you!
I have to tell you that watching that game today almost gave me a heart attack. Man, I was wondering if I would manage until the end and not be dead before the final whistle.
The first half? Oh man, I was dying. That tension. Those emotions. Celtic Park’s atmosphere. The tune of “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” Green and white scarves waving in the skies of Paradise. Then Hearts scored, and honestly, I thought I was going to land in the lavvy being sick.
Seconds before the end of the first half, Celtic got the penalty. I was counting the seconds. My heart was racing like a horse. Then, yaaaaaaassssssss!
Celtic scored the equaliser. 1-1. That was the lucky ending we needed to the first half.
I was sitting and drinking, wondering if Celtic would win this 5th in a row title. I was nervous as feck. The emotions were growing. Blood pressure nearly 200.
Seriously, man, I thought my heart was going to burst.
The second half started. Still 1-1 until the five minutes of the game. I have to admit, I couldn’t watch the very ending of the game, and I’ll tell you why. When Maeda scored the second one, which of course was onside, that was the moment when the referees gave us all a collective intake of breath by suggesting it was not.
I was like, “What, ya pricks? This is onside, man!”
What a relief it was when we learned it was Celtic’s second goal just minutes before the ending. What happened next was just out of this world!
I just couldn’t believe my eyes.
Extra time was added. Eight minutes of emotions and high blood pressure. I was standing there with the rest of the Celtic fans as we held our breath, almost peeing ourselves with the stress! Then, out of nowhere, there appeared Osmand, chasing the ball right into the box and scoring a pure dead brilliant third goal for Celtic.
Oh man! We were shouting. We were hugging each other. Then, when Celtic lifted the trophy, I was almost greeting. Let me tell you, in moments like these, I am so proud and honoured to be a Celtic fan.
Celtic are 5 in a row champions, and no one will steal that away from us.
Congratulations to you, Martin O’Neill, and you Bhoys in green and white. I am in the pub as I’m writing this. It won’t be published until tomorrow. But all the people around me are going mad with joy and I am about to join them!
Celtic, I just love you! Martin O’Neill, oh man … what a great leader. What a true Celt. What a world class gaffer. Thank you!

I never doubted that we wouldn’t win the league even when things were going a bit out of key. It was simply one game at a time and lets see. On the game, it wasn’t the best footballing spectacle on show, but the job is done, regardless of the noise.
I thought Osmand was excellent, but a special mention for Sarrachi, he really dug in and drove the team forward when he came on, get him signed.
Pitch invasion: nope
Gallowgate celebrations: nope
Other than that, i’m absolutely delighted for everyone associated with the club, except the board. “We haven’t gone away you know.”
Enjoy your hangovers. Lol
What a day! Absolutely brilliant. What can you say about Martin O’Neill? Absolute legend.
Getting the equaliser before halftime felt crucial and filled me with confidence going in to the 2nd half but when Iheanacho hit the post then their keeper made a decent save I did wonder if it was going to happen. There was enough time and we were always going to get a good chance and how fitting that it was Daizen Maeda who won the league. We will sorely miss him. Champions mentality dragged us over the line after all the bullshit this season.
Totally agree that the fans should never have been on the pitch but not surprising considering all the anti Celtic SHITE that is always across the media.
Regarding Trongate- I wasnt there but why did the council , the police and the club not sit down weeks ago and plan this property..they all knew 1000s would go there despite ” warnings” so why not plan for it?
Instead they cast fans as thugs and hooligans and send out the riot police- what did they think would happen?
Manchester, Liverpool, newcaslte etc can all organise safe places where there is party atmosphere for fans to go- christ there were over 80k fans in a park in Newcastle after they won their trophy last season after 70years!!!!
While the “fans” are not blameless for yesterday, the council and police need to take a lot of responsibility for what happened – it shows very poor civic leadership ….but what do you expect after the media frenzy.
Anyway 5 in a row..
Get most of thr board tae fuck , get some decent players in and let’s get 6 and a decent show in UCL next season
What 56??? Only a stupid fucking number concocted by huns ????
And yet, they can safely organise the disruption of the city with a bigots parade.
A very good point RC….. and if the Huns has won the Title they would have escorted them into the heart of the city, whistling along and foot tapping to their sectarian songsheet.
100% agree Richard. The bias is shocking
All marches need banned and there needs to even be a supporters zone for things like this
Agree on your point regarding Orange Order parades, Richard. Scotland sadly has a penchant for this “cultural and civic event.”
The authorities should set up an area for supporters to go and enjoy themselves, but seem incapable of doing so. Newcastle recently done so when they won a trophy and had an estimated 80,000 Geordies celebrating in a park. Why can’t it be done here? Liverpool, Man City etc have parades, why can’t we?
We know why, don’t we?
I thought the first time this occurred it was very organic and spontanenous. What I see is people enjoying themselves, then leaving. On the other hand, I see cocaine and alcohol fuelled violence by people who are probably better off staying away from substances. It’s not like we need to generate negative headlines about the supporters or the club. There’s plenty already happening fuelled by prejudice and a real dislike for us. Why give them anymore ammo? Anyway, just my opinion. Lets enjoy the win. Dunfermline next for the double.
Is that really Paulina, I have my doubts, it sounds nothing like her, unless she’s turned into full Weegie mode.
Okay, now for the Scottish Cup and another trophy to add to our haul. Eat your heart out Sevco, your wee club can only dream of the success we have achieved and that we constantly strive to better. We don’t rest on our laurels, at least the fans and the players don’t, despite the boardroom barnacle’s efforts to thwart us. Celtic, the Club of fairytales, continues to deliver and no other club in Scotland is ever going to come close to competing with the Uppity Fenians from the East End of Glasgow. Suck it up!
? ? ? ? ?
That (in the end) must’ve been such a magical day for those that were there yesterday…
But how did their ‘Hearts’ stand the tension…
I’m such a pussy I was scared to blood watch…
But what a lovely warm and contented glow I have today for sure…
Oh Celtic I love ya – Oh Celtic I do !!!
Congratulations to all at Celtic for another amazing result. Have not seen much ofthe game yet, only some highlights but what I did see was that three areas of the park were covered by three types of player we have been crying out for. The drive from deep that Saracchi provided, a centre forward who knows what he is doing, Ihneanacho and movement in and around the box provided by Osmand. Scales will never do what Saracchi does yet he is given the ball all too often by Camac to make play. I like Scales as a defender but too much is expected in a forward sense. If we can use those three next season or players in the same mould we will go places even with the rest of the squad we have. Not forgetting Danger Mouse, his determination over the later stages will be remembered for a long time.
My thoughts exactly Hugh. The substitutes were immense. Osman is here. Saracchi and Iheanacho need new contracts – today. Will Scales and Trusty ever become passers of the ball? Scales has shown flashes, but not Trusty. I noticed yesterday players free on the left wing when Trusty had the ball on the right but he lacks confidence to reach hem and passes to the easy pass on the right where there is not much opportunity for movement. Can coaching make them better passers? Should be possible. Celtic again vulnerable at set pieces but shooting themselves in the foot – the league’s top scorer and Hearts biggest threat is left unmarked at the back, why?
