  1. I am not a fan of Charlie Mulgrew the Pundit and can’t for the life of me he’s privy to absolutely anything of note regarding the goings on at Celtic never mind the locked door and made up daily transfer targets.

  2. Okay, I’ll put my hands up and admit I’m the solitary one that James may be alluding to, that believes Calvin Miller would have been a good fit for Celtic.

I watched him play for my home town club Greenock Morton, then followed his career at Falkirk. I’ve seen him play at left back, left wing and right wing with almost identical effectiveness. In my opinion his dribbling, pace, delivery, assists and goals, on either wing, when grouped together make him the best winger in Scotland.

With Maeda leaving it would’ve made even more sense.

  3. ‘…there was no serious interest from Celtic Park. If there had been, we would not be having this conversation. The deal would have been done, and he would be a Celtic player right now…’

If only it was the case that when Celtic wanted a player they would actually complete the deal and sign them.

  4. Another good young Scottish lad snubbed by Celtic…

Meanwhile Hearts move quickly and Sevco get Shankland…

While we will get a dozen Muvka’s from far away lands that will be sidelined on good wages the first elbow they receive !

  5. How would he make us better? He would be a huge upgrade on Tounetki at a quarter of the transfer fee and probably half the wages. Not to mention Balikwisha…

  6. Well said Clach and Tenaka!
There seems to be a snobbery about Celtic signing Scottish players, and even for giving currrent Scots new contracts.
It baffles me and I’d like to hear an explanation for that attitude if anyone can oblige.
