  1. I don’t fuckin trust them James…

    I pray I’m wrong !

  2. And let’s be absolutely clear here, the boss (MON) has also been 100-l% clear and consistent that fans throwing tennis balls and other such protests during games adversely affect the team on match days
So is it too much to ask that the stunts from the pub politicians and their followers are knocked on the head and folks go to the game to watch the football and support the team? And when they watch these games they stay off the pitch – I’m fed up hearing excuses for the 1% who can’t behave who then put in jeopardy the result and future enjoyment of the 99%.

    1. When was any result put in jeopardy?
      It didn’t happen.
When was the future enjoyment of the 99% put in jeopardy?
      It didn’t happen.
All football games are a mix of football and interruptions.
MON won us an unexpected league title despite the board but that doesn’t mean everything he says is correct.
The tennis ball protest was just another in a long list of normal football interruptions. Does a few minutes of an opposition player rolling around play acting ruin everything because it’s an interruption ?
      No.
Nor did a tennis ball protest.
Instead of having a go at fans MON, try having a go at a board who created the reason for a tennis ball protest in the first place.

      1. There’s a MASSIVE difference between opposition players disrupting the game and OUR OWN fans disrupting the game as fine well you know. Our manager, our captain and several other players said it didn’t help them and they would be best placed to know wouldn’t you say??

Coming onto the pitch COULD jeopardise the result of a game as could throwing things on a pitch (were you there vs Rapid Vienna in 1984? vs AC Milan in 2007 we were lucky that Dida overplayed the incident with the idiot who came on the pitch otherwise we would almost have certainly been kicked out by UEFA). I’ve followed Celtic for fifty years and NEVER ONCE have I felt the need to run onto the pitch to celebrate a goal or the winning of a title – isn’t celebrating with fellow fans and/or friends around you enough? Instead of defending fans for behaving like idiots try being an adult. Suggesting the fans who threw tennis balls were somehow forced into doing so by the Board is ludicrous.

The Board have made plenty errors (particularly last season) and this summer is last chance saloon for them BUT theta doesn’t make certain fans actions ok PERIOD.

  3. James I think you are a coward and a divisive character. For 3 days I have asked you to provide evidence for your statement that RK smiled while his players Israeli players watched genocide videos. You have not responded so I can only concude you have nothing. That being the case you are a divisive character and not good for cfc. Man up and prove me wrong or stop your bullhist about being a Celtic fan that really has Celtic at heart

    1. JF has first class credentials when it comes to Celtic however we all make occasional mistakes, it’s called being a human being.
If this is one, does that then destroy the reputation of its author?
      No.
      It’s just one error.
You are extremely quick to jump to the name calling.

Could it be you who should “stop your bullhist about being a Celtic fan that really has Celtic at heart”
      ?

  4. I’m sure MON will have asked for assurances he will be given the funding for SM to recruit the players he needs.

  5. Volp @ 7.48pm…

Unfortunately if Martin calls out and has a go at the board he simply won’t be there…

Look at what the fuckers did to Brendan…

Martin did kinda defend the fans coming onto the field of play when dealing with The Scummy’s of The Scottish Football Media and that guy Jim White…

But he called out the tennis balls fiasco in his victory speech after The Scottish Cup Final outside Parkhead…

That said – He was probably ordered to by Desmond !

  6. There are surely some early moves that can be made to get the squad overhaul moving:
    Move out all the loanees.
Sell on the players who want to leave.
Get Callum’s contract extension sorted (despite him being born Scottish).
    Assess the returning injured players.
    Get Ineacho fit.
Agree on a list of required players.
