  1. What a long winded pile of drivel to tell us all what we already think. I will assume that this monotonous read could have some sort of hidden message or meaning but I could be wrong… or I might not be wrong. Are we any the wiser for this article? No.. or are we?

  2. I do enjoy PJs articles but this constant ginger witch gimmick spoils them for me. A good well written article stands on its own and doesn’t need brought down by throwing in a gimmick every time one is written.
Especially one that bestows a supernatural power on the writer that the rest of us supposedly don’t have.
If it’s just a bit of fun it’s gotten weary, so come on PJ you ARE better than that.

    1. I’ve stopped reading her articles because of that, it’s cringeworthy and tedious.

    2. Hubble bubble…
I must add my total admiration for a budding new writer finding her way and writing in a language which is not her native tongue.
So if you see this please don’t be disheartened PJ as you are doing a great job and we do look forward to reading your own particular and unique angle on all things Celtic.
But no need for broomsticks lol

  3. James, my baldy wizard instincts are telling me you’re reading far too much into nothing.

I believe MON is just responding to a probing question the best way possible. He’s batting it away in a dismissal fashion whilst, at the same time, not giving the players agent any traction if the story has been planted by the agent. No matter what’s behind the story MON gave the perfect response.

As for the board. There is someone at Celtic who thinks they are all knowing when it comes to identifying and buying a player. That needs to stop because they’re losing the club money. To give one recent example. Balikwisha. Five million and he’s hardly kicked a ball. And as far as we all know he wasn’t MON’s signing and he wasn’t Rodgers’ signing. This needs to stop. The *only* person identifying players at a club should be the scouts, or someone with the brief to identify possible signings, and the manager. With the manager always getting the final say.

  4. I took the polar opposite meaning from MON’s statement as you did James.

He’s saying that certain players have been linked with Celtic that he has no knowledge of and neither do the board.
This implies to me that the football dept and the board ARE on the same page.
It also says to me that there are links that MON and the board do know about, but he chose not to mention those links.

It was also a MON trademark wee slap in the face to the Scottish media.
