This Pre-Match Session is brought to you by The Power Of Bradley Wiggins sideburns and a Red Dragon bottle filled with lager. It’s in no way feeling inferior or having massive regrets that it wasn’t born with a silver spoon in it’s mouth meaning that it will never ever be able to win gold at canoeing, shooting or equestrian events at future Olympic Games.

It wholly blames poor allocation of lottery funding for this.

Managers View:

“We are looking forward to tomorrow and the symbolic gesture of having the flag unfurled in the stadium. We are the champions so everyone will want to take points off us and show they can play at the same level as our players.”

How They Looking:

Being tipped as dark horses for 2nd spot but even with the impressive additions in the summer it’s hard not to look at Craig Brown sitting in the dugout and see them drawing more than winning.

They surely will improve on their 9th spot finish because Dundee, Inverness, St Midden & Ross County are surely worse than them.

Any Ex Hupes

Niall McGinn moved to The Rhodders in the summer. Decent enough SPL player who was maybe hard done by at Celtic.

Recent Form:

Wins against Arbroath and a 12-0 win against Alstatte were highlights while a defeat to Elgin was unexpected being defeated by Werder Bremen surely isnt? Last game was a draw against our friends St Pauli.

Top Marksman

A pitiful average of 1.02 goals per game last season shows were their problems lay. Will the introduction of McGinn, Jonnie Hayes and the retention of Scott Vernon who scored 16 goals last season improve this?

Clean Sheets

Only lost an average of 0.94 on the road last season.

Record Against Us (Since The Lennon Revolution)

Haven’t beaten Celtic since Lennon took over both in League and Cup. Defeated in their last 3 visits to Celtic Park but can take heart that they ended our winning streak at The Rhodders last season with a 1-1 draw.

How We Looking

Injuries to Scott Brown and Jamsey Forrest mean that their will be changes to the team from our midweek outing. Brendan Kayal could return and Victor may return to his natural habitat with Thomas Rogne being unwrapped for his first competitive game of the season.

Top Bhoy

8 Goals Against Aberdeen. HOT SHOT!

Top Marksman

Apart from Stokes, Gary Hooper scored 29 goals last season and already has one this season.

Clean Sheets

An impressive 25 shut outs last season Double F has lost a few goals in pre-season, including one on Wednesday night.

Wanna Win Some Money?

Stokes first goal, Celtic win 3-1.
