Coffee & Tv: Surely No-One Still Wants Levein As Celtic Manager?

|

Remember those long hot summer nights when he showed up splashing around?

Ok, maybe not then… but remember when we were making a bit of a meal of appointing the only candidate that had any chance of the managers job and we were getting linked with the Adam Pearsons, Alan Pardew’s of this world and we all had hope that we may sell Georgios Samaras?

Well, then you will remember the rumour that we were after the under pressure Craig Levein and some who indulge in sniffing new laid tar thought this might be a good idea.

Now I think Levein is getting a raw deal from some media types. What else did they expect him to do? Dundee United weren’t exactly Brazil 70. This week saw him unloosen his top button and go out without a tie. He said afterwards: “I changed the way we played today, probably a little bit against my better judgement.”

That statement alone should send a shudder through all Celtic supporters.

The Scotland job will be the biggest job Levein will have. He will make a decent fist of it. Though he is doing a decent audition for a role in the darksides future and they have previous of stealing a Scotland manager.

The ‘winner’ the other night was concocted straight outta compton. Seeing Celt’s and ex-Celts scoring for their national sides does tickle my testicles for some reason.

Craig Levein is probably doing as well as anybody could with the current crop at his disposal. That job’s a real poisoned chalice.

No way he should be with us, tho.
The Ginger Guardiola will guide us to the title this year, no problem.

    Please – just – don’t – eff – up – ramorra …
