I don’t listen to Real Radio. The play list is hormonal hen night music and it’s what makes commercial radio so cringeworthy and unlistenable.
I was advised by friend of the blog, Pujol, of a task that the ‘friends of the Real Radio phone in’ at Follow Follow were undertaking to prove that it’s not Celtic that have been on the end of ‘honest mistakes‘ it’s actually R*ngers. This task was conceived by Hearts fan and lead anchor on the phone in, Ewan Cameron.
The Real Radio Phone In – for those who have been on Mars – is unlistenable tosh, presented by Ewan and Alan Rough. My Dyson has picked up more intelligent life forms from my living room carpet than 99% of their callers. The presenters style appeals to the audience as they are basically knobs with microphones. Think the format of Talksport produced and presented by chimps.
Usually such tomfoolery from them would be dismissed but – here I go into confession – I had the pleasure (sic) of hearing an hour or so of a show last Thursday.
In this show Ewan was like an over excited 13 year old seeing his first pair of erect nipples through the gym teachers tight vest top. His passion when crying that he had ‘pages and pages’ of evidence of bias against R*ngers would have put Meg Ryan to shame in When Harry met Sally. All from a Hearts fan.
The Hearts fan also recently wrote a blog defending R*ngers fans behaviour in Europe using the minority excuse. Is he protesting too much?
I don’t know if Ewan has had any acting lessons. Is he just a failed drama student and this gig is his ultimate Glee? It’s hard not to think that his Hearts fan persona is just Ying to Rough’s Hibs Yang and when matters close to the heart are topics then his mask slips.
I could just be looking into this far to much. His station is a slave to ratings and it’s not hard to see more intelligent beings telling the hosts what sides to take and giving them scripts to read. Are the listeners just being duped? A Roswell incident every week night between 6 and 8pm?  The show and opinions are so OTT it’s hard not to come to the opinion that it’s fake and they are aiming to snare the lowest common denominator of the target audience. Basically they are aiming it at morons.
Cameron is an apologist like most in the broadcasting media. It’s ingrained when you start attending press conferences and start discussing things over the pastries and custard creams with other members of the media. He hasn’t yet learned how not to let his mask slip.
One thing comes out loud and proud. He is anti-Celtic and he doesn’t hide that he is anti-Celtic. That makes him more dangerous than other apologists. What’s worse that he has some sort of power over the morons who take his word as gospel. He is some sort of David Koresh type figure in the Phone In world.
So, next time someone asks you if you listened to the Real Radio Phone In I would find the nearest mirror and check that some hasn’t tattooed “I’m a f*cking c*ntbutler’ on your forehead.

I`ve had folkies from periferal housing areas ask me if I`m the real radio thingy so I`ve seen the cut of their listeners.
I`ve always quite liked Roughy, he did play 8 times for the Bhoys in 1988-89 season however I have to agree with you about that Ewan fellow. I wouldn`t even support him if he was pitching for the Seattle Mariners.

I listened to it once and checked in the mirror, I thought I was a proper c*ntbutler but then I realised it wasn’t my mirror it was a picture of ally mcoist nailed to my dartboard, who I can confirm along with the hun bastard who presents real radio, is a massive c*ntbutler and a cocksmith of the highest degree.
Of course they want to win their ‘ratings war’ with Radio Snyde. At least Snyde (well, I think they still do) have the likes of Big Fat Derek Johnstone on who in absolutely no way whatsoever deny their leanings and are veru open about them. Not like the wee snake, Spewin’ Cameron.
BTW, to the next Celtic fan who comes up to me moaning about “Did you hear what such-and-such said on the phone-in last night?” I will punch you right on the kisser! It’s as if you are just sitting waiting to be riled by that wee box in your room that people speak out of and plays music!
Any Celtic fan with half a brain cell will stay away from these heaps of shite and the paper forms of them as well. If I can do it, anyone can! Sadly, not all choose to…..

Ewan Cameron is like a hormonal woman the way he carries on. His ‘deflection, deflection’ deflection’ saying when refering to Celtic fans shifting blame from defeats to officials bias is used by rangers fans (who even) know that the show is propaganda . It is the laziest form of shock jock presenting in the free press and should be boycotted by everyone, but the most effeminate of Rangers fans, who (I can only imagine) the format was created for.
He’s an insult to shock jocks. I just feel the whole 2 hours are fake.
Its loosely scripted, when it was televised on setanta, before the UK crash and burn, the DJ peered upon his notes before he ever said anything.
Im so glad Clyde extended their nightly show an extra hour because when it was only on for 1 hour between 6pm & 7pm, i would find myself turning over after Clyde had finished to give my blood pressure extra pressure.
Could not believe some of the dirge that Ewan Camerhun spouted. most annoying little prat ive ever had the displeasure to listen too.
Dont, & wont listen to his anti Celtic tirades anymore. Most Celtic fans I know have also binned Real Radio for good. ( All programmes )
Clyde must be well ahead in the ratings & its mainly down to CAMERHUN.
I listen to the BBC, I at least pay for it and I can use that as a basis for my mockrage when they are anti Celtic.

He just takes the opposite view to try and get a reaction, which he does well although blatantly obviously. I can’t believe anyone takes him seriously.
