As the R*ngers management team circle the wagons round the most despicable being EVER to disgrace the Scottish game – seemingly ‘serial killers get better press‘ -, it wasn’t long before their fans – who have proved they are very good at flip flopping with their views and whitewashing someone’s past with the old deflection routine – took offence at someone telling the truth.
Again, surprise surprise at that.
With nearly of the laptop loyal lickspittles biting the hand that feeds them with their condemnation of the signing Craig Burley was the unfortunate ex-Celtic player that was seen as game for complaints. The pundit – a term I use as loosely as possible – was ‘carpeted‘ by his bosses whose subscriptions must be so low that they actually need to care.
What Burley said was the truth. Though, I did have a right laugh when he spoke about being ‘impartial’ while doing his job.

Eh I’m not really. He has been wronged this time but he is a terrible pundit.
Craig Burley is one of the the worst pundits on telly – slightly worse than ‘champagne charlie’ but 10 times better than ‘talk a load of complete and utter pish’ Rambo.
But on this occasion he was 100% right.
Well done for having that Craig Burley rant. While we are being fair, Billy Dodds on Radio Scotland is his own man.:-)

Such bile from some of you guys. Short memories too. You made a hero of a man who deliberately wrecked the career of a young player. Not in the heat of battle but cynically and with malice aforethought, by his own admission. And all for a tackle on him 2 years earlier. What an example.
Diouf is a scumbag and always will be regardless of how he plays or how well behaved he might be whilst here. I have yet to speak to another Rangers fan who is happy with the signing but he’s here, like it or lump it.
As for Burley, when he’s on t.v. with a microphone, he’s there to assess footballing matters impartially, which he can’t do when it comes to the Old Firm. If he had been talking to a mate off camera or maybe sending an e-mail to a friend then fine, or maybe not these days. As it was he made himself sound like an un-proffessional fool
Don’t get into talking off camera or sending emails. That’s a whole different ball game!
