Absolutely gutted tonight. A totally shambolic performance. The defence was shocking. Midfield and forward line totally disjointed. We knew before the game that butcher like McCall would have his team fired up yet we lacked hunger and desire. Some strange decisions on Lennon’s part. Maloney did not deserve a starting place. Stokes and Hooper could have been kept on a bit longer. I fear the worst after tonight’s result particularly as it looks like we’ll be without Kayal.

celtic were robbed in the 1-1 hamilton game, it was a game that echoed the referee performances of the previous 2 seasons. saying that this season has not been anywhere near as blatantly bias as the last 2 since it was job done in saving ragers going into administration, weve had the usual transparent bias in the way the sfa treats celtic and ragers, weve had dougie and dallas sacked for cheating, lying and bigotry, but in terms of how bad it was for the last 2 years it hasn’t been at that level. we all know celtic will have to put up with some bias throughout the course of a season and all we can do is hope its kept to a minimum, now ragers has been saved hopefully it will go back to underhand tactics again instead of the open bias we suffered for 2 years and the beginning of this season. we will never rid scottish football of racism and bigotry but we can keep pushing to expose people like george peat, jim farry, craig brown, mike mccurry, dougie mcdonald & hugh dallas and keep their influence to a minimum.

A few weeks ago Rangers destiny was in their own hands. They blew their game in hand, advantage Celtic. “The League is ours,” “we’re world class” “the huns are shite”, and on and on. Well here we are.
But where we are is still with a championship to be decided and I still wouldn’t put money on the outcome. I’m surprised at the lapse by Celtic although I thought a draw was a possibility. With their superior goal difference I still thought they would be favourites.
What should be clear though, no matter the outcome, is that Celtic are by no means world class or Rangers are much better than they get credit for. Or maybe both. If Celtic were as good as claimed the league would have been over by Christmas.

If you remember the season in question you should also remember that Rangers, and Celtic, regularly rattled in barrowloads against the lesser opposition. Dunfermline, as it happens, were Rangers rabbits for several seasons just as Celtic regularly scored 20+ a season against Glabberdeen. By the way, would you say 9-0 was lying down? Do you really believe Stokes was due a penalty for barging Davis? or Ledley for barging Whittaker? About 2 seasons ago there were all sorts of complaints made by some Celtic fans about Rangers always getting penalties. A quick check of the stats showed that Celtic have been awarded more penalties than any other team in the Premier league. I didn’t check this myself but I’ve no reason to doubt the radio personalites who did.
