It never ceases to amaze me some of the idiots out there who claim to “speak for the Celtic fans.” We get this all the time now; unsolicited advice and clowns thinking that they are on our wavelength.
The latest of these goons is ex-Ibrox player Michael Ball who has, apparently, been talking to loads of us and what he’s been told is that we don’t want Eddie Howe but a bigger name like Mourinho.
Ball is another of those players who is on the speed-dial of one of those clickbait sites which thinks that former footballers have some special knowledge of the game.
It never ceases to amaze me how many of the ex-Ibrox players on these think they know what it is that the Celtic fans want. This clown seems to think we want to start the search from scratch again in aid of bringing in a sexier name.
You have to wonder what planet this guy is on.
There are a lot of our fans who actually don’t believe Howe is the best name we can get, and a growing number who certainly don’t think he’s worth all this pissing about for.
Yet I think most of us are realists on the sort of boss we can get right now.
That’s not really the point though.
It’s the cheek to think that he speaks on our behalf … Michael Ball, for God’s sake?
This is the quality of commentary on Celtic?
An ex-Rangers player who hasn’t been seen here in donkey’s years?
Was the actor with the same name not available or what?
What else does Ball give talks on? The Russian space program? Does he have lots of Russian cosmonaut friends as well? It’s easier to believe than that he’s got loads of Celtic supporting buddies.
Honest to God, PLEASE Celtic make an appointment soon so that we don’t’ have to put up with much more of this from nonentities such as this geezer.
