Ibrox’s Transparent “Injury List” Is Fooling Nobody, Least Of All At Celtic.

If there is one thing we know about the Ibrox club, if there is one thing we have learned these past few years, it is not to trust a single thing we hear about injured players prior to a match against us.

How many times have we seen players who were definitely out make a sudden re-appearance and playing the full 90 minutes? Too many to fall for it.

The Ibrox side will be as close to full strength as they can be outside of their long-term injured which everyone has known for weeks wouldn’t be here.

The rest, I think we’ll see almost all of them. Connor Goldson? There is no way that he misses the game against Celtic, although they might attempt to con us by leaving him out tomorrow.

Celtic will be putting no store in any of this. We know the Ibrox club likes to play its little games, and we’ll be planning to face their best side. The media will play its little games, but we’ll pay no attention to that either. In part because we’re focussed on today.

We shouldn’t be expecting Hatate back either. If he’s going to play at the weekend he’d have to play some role today, and none of us really thinks he will. He will return soon enough, as will Abada, but we need, at all costs, to resist the urge to throw him in half ready.

Besides, if we play Hatate right now he’ll be at the Asian Cup guaranteed and I think Celtic wants to avoid that if it possibly can, and we only have a few games left to be without him.

With no major shocks on the cards – for either side – we know what we’re facing, what we’re facing it with and what we have to do. I don’t think anything less than a win will be good enough, which is why Ibrox will attempt every little ploy it can to get out of Celtic Park with at least a point, because for them that’s perfect, that puts them top with their game in hand and then we’re chasing for once, with a tough set of fixtures to come.

So they will certainly have their fun and attempt to beguile us with nonsense like their “injury crisis.” They have a few players out, so do we. But the mainstay of that time, every single one of them will be there if they can be patched up and sent on to the pitch.

This is how they get so many injuries in the first place, by making players play half fit.

It’s nothing new – Richard Gough was always “rated doubtful” before derby games in the 80s / 90s, usually withdrawing from international squads. Miraculously, he nearly always played.

‘ The Colossus that is Conor Goldson ‘ is how the daily Record the Rangers apologist scoop David MC Carthy called him a season ago ! God almighty … why this fraud is allowed to draw a monthly salary is one of the con’s of the entire SMSM ?

With our own inconsistencies the focus has to remain solely upon ourselves and what we do?
Injuries are part of the game and you expect a squad to be able to overcome the likes and not looking for excuses, within the SPFL, CL remains a different story altogether?
Regardless, we still have the strongest squad available within Scottish football, and need to find our consistency within our performance levels, and that still remains the job of Rodgers to find, and certainly not prepared to listen to any more of his excuses and bullshit either?
Nothing less than 9 points from the next 3 games would be acceptable and then take things from there and see what direction this team intends to sail into?
Currently I haven’t a clue with the inconsistencies remaining way to high for my liking at present imo

Need the 3 points against decent Dundee side well coached by Tony Docherty.
Potential problems on VAR with (John) Greig Aitken and maddens mate rooome assistant.
And Don no foul on o,Riley cup final ,Maeda crosses jota scores. He is still raging how that little cheat turned out.
Still play anywhere neaour best and should be a win for the Bhoys.

I don’t mind the games they play. I more mind the compliance of our pathetic MSM. I always say it against that lot. Let’s have their best 11 on the park, all fully fit. Other than Hatate missing (which is a sore one), we are shaping up much better. Starting with either / both of Mikey Johnston and David Turnbull is just not acceptable anymore. So if either / both need to come on against those bastards at any point, we’ll need to be a couple up. Otherwise, a change in formation is required.

Players there have a Lazarus chamber that’s turned on in the week before our games. Nobody is ever injured against us. Why they keep trying to fool us is beyond me.

Hope CCV makes it next week

the Addams family are not going to do anything against the klan tomorrow ,they will hope to keep it safe for a few mins they the roof will cave in so saying they will risk leaving goldson out they could leave most the team out and still get the job done, after all its the bears show lets not try a leg ,,,,, fact.

  • Peter Cassidy says:

If Celtic play there all out attack there is only one winner and that’s Celtic .I have watched the rangers 2012 a few times and I have got to be honest they are a average team the new manager has got playing well but so did Beale”when he came in I think they went on a run of 14/15 winning matches the only difference Clement has won the league cup only because we lost to Kilmarnock so will see how things go next Saturday .
