Good God guys, have you seen the adverts for Sky Sports Scotland’s Clement love in with The Village Idiot?

Is that honestly for real, or is this some bizarre April Fools joke that they didn’t manage to put out in time? Other than a tiny sect of their audience, who is that actually for?

Even if you are an Ibrox fan, One Man, His Car & A Moron can’t possibly be the kind of stuff you want to watch? Not an interview as much as a piece of fan-boy slobbering with the Village Idiot himself in the role of the drooling idiot. Who sat and thought that up?

Sky Sports Scotland is like a bad joke, especially since putting him on the air. Don’t get me wrong, I never thought that show was the height of intellectual analysis, but this is scraping the gunk off the bottom of the bottom of the barrel. No wonder Celtic fans hate it. Neutrals, if there are any left who can even bear to watch, must be switching right off.

Not that TNT Sport is much better; for the second night in a row, they’ve had on the unapologetic sectarian bigot. It makes you not want to bother watching the sports channels at all. Sky Sports itself isn’t terrible, but the continuing presence, on their Scottish channel, of that halfwit makes it virtually unbearable, and as I said, Celtic fans can’t be alone in thinking so.

There was a time when Sky Sports would have given us hard-hitting interviews with people fans were interested in, asking the questions they wanted to hear. This is certainly not that.

Nobody outside of a very narrow sect will be in the least bit inclined to watch such a piece of televisual junk. It has no merit to it whatsoever. It wouldn’t pass muster on a fan media outlet.

But this is Sky Sports Scotland, which has gone from being a highly impressive well-run operation to this shambles, in what seems like a very short time.

No wonder a lot of the people who respond to these articles urge that none of us pay subscriptions and instead go with Firesticks or whatever else; it makes it very hard to argue that they aren’t on to something.

Nobody should have to pay a premium subscription for such low-IQ junk, and that’s the Village Idiot on a good day. God knows what this is supposed to be.

Well I’ll keep it simple from my point of view…

Any Celtic supporters that finance them…

Ye Fools, Ye Fools, Ye absolute Bloody Fools…

If yous really must see it (and Boyd)…

    Get that bloody firestick !!!!

Sky Sports is and always was utter garbage and they continue to seek the blue pound. I don’t subscribe to it and never will.It is overpriced dross and uses the worst so called pundits with the exception of Chris Sutton.

We as a support should put money on Tavpen at the bookies, I’m fvcking serious put a couple of quid on and watch the odds go from evens at best tae bookies no taking your money.

I haven’t subscribed to Sky Sports since early on into that wanker’s stint started. He is truly awful. I know he only got the gig because he has contacts at Sky Sports. Which kinda tells you the people Sky Sports employ as movers and shakers. The emphasis being on the word “peepul”.

I genuinely don’t mind a sevconian viewpoint if that’s what they want to reduce it to. In spite of his recent major blunder, I think McCoist is very knowledgeable on the game and provides good insight (although I do cringe when he starts the mawkish stuff about Walter Smith). The point being, in spite of that, McCoist understands Scottish football.

I also don’t mind Neil McCann as a pundit. I’m not a fan by any stretch because of his past but he is a half decent pundit for one of that lot.

Boyd is just an Ayrshire bigot who likes to wind up Celtic fans. I’ll be fkd if I am paying for him to do that.

As soon as I see his cretinous fizzog, click. I’d rather watch Bargain Hunt. Or an hour of bagpipes.

I hope the SS sprung for an interpreter for big Clement as Big Fake Kris Boyd is helluva tricky to understand at the best of times ?

  • Truth_Beauty_and_Freedom says:

I have never understood the Business Idiocy of Sky Sports Scotland’s approach, nor Sky in general for allowing their approach. I also disagree that this is a recent phenomenon.

For me the choice is, and has been for very many years now, quite simple… “I don’t like the lack of neutrality, nor the lack of professionalism in your approach Sky Sports Scotland. Therefore not only have you lost my Football/Sports subscription, but you will NEVER get my Broadband, telephone, Mobile or TV Subscriptions either!

Celtic TV for Audio is my Go-To Solution, and I watch the match later (on Celtic TV).

    Yours in Celtic,

    TB&F.

The only information I get above that fkwt is on here. I switch the channel or turn down the sound when he’s on, and have never read anything he has apparently written. That guy couldn’t walk and chew chewing gum at the same time. He’s like the transition from neanderthal to homo sapien. Truly an embarrassment. Commonly in the workplace he’d be the guy referred to as an overall thief, uniform carrier, stealing a wage, etc. But what does that tell you about Sky? They’d rather pander to a demographic with a collective IQ of 50, than to provide us with good journalists, and/or astute ex footballers with real intellect. Sky’s whole approach to Scottish football is insulting and focused on a viewing audience of below average IQ @rseh@les. No irony that they are mainly h@nz

  • Kevan McKeown says:

His attempt at a ‘clever’ retort, tae Chris Sutton handin him his arse with the kyogo penalty analysis, was absolutely pathetic. ‘It’s a conspiracy’ ! Ah mean he showed everybody exactly what he is, a brainless cretin, who has absolutely no intelligent insight tae contribute whatsoever.

  • Dan says:

Personally cannot understand why any Celtic supporter would have a subscription for sky sports. They hate our club, but people tend to put their own needs ahead of the greater good. Imagine if sky got cancellations from thousands of Celtic fans, Mr Boyd would soon be gone.
