Crosas, Hoovield And Sammy: Milky Turkeys?

|

The blog has seen more mentions of ‘deadwood‘ than Yellowstone Park and thoughts of massive ‘culls‘ not seen since the last BSE crisis in the last few days.

Everyone’s favourite Celtic Tweeter, Marc Crosas, took umbridge at a back page of a tabloid when the headline suggested that he was one of ‘turkeys’ that were to be binned.

Lennon himself has suggested that the squad is ‘too milky’ and the natural train of thought seems to lead those in the know to assume that Crosas, Samaras and the saviour of our season this time last year, Jos Hoovield, are the milky turkeys.

West Brom were credited with an interest in Samaras. They saw sense and denied all knowledge. Only teams that don’t watch the SPL on a regular basis will entertain the notion of the biggest waste of air in their shirt. Crosas? His Barca credentials carry some weight in Spain while Hoovield hasn’t been away from Sweden long enough for them to see him as a dud.

Loovens should be another that should leave. I had an interesting conversation with a R*ngers fan and we came to the conclusion that he would have been a success at them. That’s enough to show him the door.

Also is it too early to try and flog Steptoe’s Horse for glue?

  • Hi Nearly all the names of players touted for departure are men who haven’t been in the team the last 4 games ,arguably the worst displays of the season, what are the dummies that are left going to do ? james

It was only the Marnocks Kevin.:-)
The anxiety that turned to abuse didn`t help the Bhoys or the fightback. Great support in the last 8 minutes though.

When Sammon scored I thought, `here goes that infernal 55 year record`. Funnily enough I was remembering a game I saw on New Years eve in 1960. Celtic were 1-2 down to the same Marnocks and scored two late goals to win 3-2. I don`t remember the crowd getting the players nervous in those bygone days.
All I want for Christmas is three points for Celtic on Sunday!
A big Christmas shout out for all of the bloggers, Merry Christmas Bhoys! You are the BEST!!!
