Bain And Smith Are Not Birds Of A Feather

|

It all started with the SFA ‘declaring war’ on both Celtic and R*ngers.

“The clubs have a duty of care to ensure that the image and integrity of the game is upheld at all times. This was not adhered to.” he warbled while saying that an investigation will be launched.

Celtic, quite rightly came out fighting. “Contrary to Stewart’s statement I do not think that our players showed a lack of respect to officials.” boasted Peter Lawwell with all the Tv evidence in the world to back up his smugness that I’m sure this statement was delivered in.

The fun came as R*ngers tried to defend the indefensible. The man who has been tanned by a kitchen light said:

There was indeed increased tension at last night’s match between the clubs, mainly as a result of incidents at previous matches where two of our players were the subject of extreme verbal abuse in the tunnel and around the dug-out area at Ibrox.”

Forgive me if I’m wrong but I’m sure ALL involved in football have gave a bit of verbal’s. Sledging it’s called in a gentlemans’ game I hear.

Plus if you have a player who is willing to spend everyday for a fortnight mouthing off in the papers, spends all of his energy in big games on the wind up while doing fuck all else and is mad as a box off frogs I’m really sorry that he can’t take it back and you feel the need to back him up.

That’s your problem. Not ours.

The main laugh is with the blame the ref game something that Dignity FC say they would never do..

There has been extensive criticism of referees and the SFA this season and we are now questioning the impact of that criticism.” continued the orange one, while us here at thecelticblog wondered if Walter Myth had any input into this statement at all.

Let’s go back to 25th October 2010.

There comes a time when we must stop blaming officials. We have to have a look at what happened (in the game).’ Smith chuntered after a 3-1 victory against us before continuing “During all the time I have been involved in Rangers v Celtic matches, in the majority of these games, it has been the better side on the day that has won.”

Have Walter and Martin fallen out or are they just changing the agenda to suit because they have all lost the plot?
