Cowards Way.

It’s really quite difficult to get yer head round the behaviour of Duff & Phelps, the R*ngers management and players.

Three weeks have passed since R*ngers were plunged into administration by the HMRC and in that time the approved administrator husnae struck a red marker through where to save costs. In fact, they seem to be playing to the crowd.

We have seen them attempt to sign a player for a reported £5,000 then admit today that major artery cutting is required to see the club through to the end of the season. They have played up to the fans asking them to come through the turnstyles and turned a charity match into a fundraiser.

Unlike Pompey who went into administration at the same time we huvnae seen any savage cuts at Ibroke. It seems that D&P have only been searching doon the back of the couch fir spare change to keep the beast alive. I don’t know nothing aboot finance apart from my pin number but it’s clear that D&P have a strange take on what is best for the club surviving and for the creditors.

They seem to be acting like cowards.

Fat Sally has been quite adamant that he widnae help in cutting the costs. He was clear fae the start that he widnae make the choice of what players should go. Firgive me but from what I can remember Dundee or Livingston management never got that option. They were told here’s what the cuts amount tae get oan wie it.

D&P being cowards lead to a situation that Fat Sally’s lack of back bone is seen as dignified. He’s doing it for team spirit when really he is just as much as a coward himself by not making the decision of what players should go and this sees him riding the club to oblivion when he could do something aboot it.

The players? Cowards as well. Not helped by the other two creating a situation which would tear apart even the closet of groups their selfish natures see them unable and unwilling to do the decent thing. It was all deferrals then pay cuts as long as the cut was made up wie a slice of the transfer fee at the other end.

These players will get joabs. What aboot – for example – Wee Joey. A lifelong Bare got a wee security joab at Murray Park. Has turned doon moves to Morrisions and Lidils to stay where he is as he feels part of the Bares in the Big Hoose.  He feels part of their success when they speak to him through the rolled up windaes of their flash motors after training.

All three parts being cowards means that Wee Joey disnny know if his rent/mortgage is going to be paid and if he should be looking for new employment. He is the real victim in this so forgive me for not buying the false sympathy and plaudits that is being lauded on the players and coaches.

Gregg Wylde walked away. He said it was for the good of the club. The below tweet proves different and also that he walked right into talks with a Championship club. He left with Sandy Jardine proving that they will be bitter Blues to the end. Dinny sign fir Celtic was his advice.

Mervan Celik walked oot on a 3 and a half year deal. Probably because they made him put his first name on the back of his jersey so not to upset the natives. That and Jardine makes you wonder if this institution and the road to Hell they are oan isnny the correct path.

The ‘institution’ that is Rangers will never be the same again. They could go the way of Third Lanark (if justice is to be done). people will rally to the cause and try to get them straight back into the SPL. I really don’t think this will happen. If it does Scottish football is finished. One club cannot cheat for decades, fold and just re-join the league within a few months. Surely the other Scottish clubs would have something to say about this. If not then they really should be ashamed of themselves. What about UEFA? With the focus on financial fair play surely they are monitoring the disgrace that is Rangers.

The real hold up here is probably the agents i.e.’advisors’. They do not want to give up there 5-10% of earnings. If they hold out it folds or their guys are made redundant they can get a slice of new signing on fee. The sharks are in the water and circling. It is all a great shame. Hey not so much jelly this time Enrico I love thye ice cream more.

Celtic and the SPL don’t need those bigots… They have bought titles with players they could not afford for over a decade… They should be stripped of those titles and the awards given to the teams who came runners up in those competitions… Financial Mismanagement? HAHA that’s the biggest understatement I have ever heard of… TAX EVASION, FINANCIAL DOPING, ILLEGAL PAYMENTS, EBT SCAMS… That sounds more like a fitting description of how R*ngers have been ran since the Moonbeam era… The sad reality is this however, they will probably be allowed back into the SPL by the corrupt officials at the head of the Scottish game… Personally, I hope they are allowed back in, because it will be great to visit R*ngers FC 2012 at Ibrox and pump their mediocre at best team every time we do! Hail Hail

Exactly…anytime Financial fair play is mentioned outside of Scotland all you hear is “strict rules” and “severe punishments” for anyone found guilty of Financial doping, however, not in our beautiful wee country, no, mark my words, they will be cleared of all their debt a new team formed and allowed straight back into SPL, probsdbetter off financially than they ever were, like the article says…UEFA and FIFA need to be involved in this…it’s the only way a fair outcome can be achieved….although I have serious doubts whether this will happen….

Fair play belongs to another type of sport. I apologise that I am more interested in the wellbeing of the Bhoys prior to Sunday. Broony?

    • lordofthewing says:

No need to apologise, I feel durty being consumed by them but it’s just so………funny, amazing, captivating and deserved.

I will post ABOOT THE CELTIC tonight.

      • lordofthewing says:

I’m sorry there was no blog aboot The Mighty CELTIC!. I was consumed wie putting jnr to bed and the Beauty of Bilbao.

Tonight or tomorrow will be FITBA’ all the way.

Would’t be surprised if they decide that the time is right to expand the SPL so when they slip seamlessly from Administration to Liquidation they can take their place among the other newcomers to the league and probably debt free.

Bejesus, D&P’s charm offensive has worked a treat. The Romeo’s are CHIRPY after hearing of interest from USA, Far East and, eh, East Perthshire, that FOUR PLAYERS have agreed to a saving of approx £250,000 per month (close to the million needed!), that Hector would be willing to do a deal (10p in the £ Timmy!), Ticketus deal is unravelling and that Meester Whyte is the BADMAN that willnae get any money as he issny the secured creditor but still owns Ibroke, Murray Park and the players…….

They are talking to me this morning….which is difficult to take after days of ignoring eye contact and looking like they were being bhuggered by King Kong.

All this just DAYS after D&P stating they were fecked……pity da fools…..
