Media garbage about our club can at times makes me feel like we’re caught in a revolving door, one where we can’t escape but where things are constantly rolling out and others are constantly getting flung in.
We just go round and round and round.
For a fortnight our wee world inside that door was consumed by first Everton and then Leeds. Just us, stuck in that door, and the media firing this guff at us. Us trying to keep cool and chill ourselves out, and fling stuff out whenever an opening presented itself.
And no sooner did we get the rancid Everton stuff out of our faces but the Leeds stuff was being fired in the other side, and it stunk worse than ever. Even as we’re piling that out the door people like Jackson are trying to ram Southampton through that gap.
It just never stops.
This weekend, someone threw Kyogo trash into the doors, with stories about how Palace want him. Well they better bring a very big bag of money and even then I suggest they don’t get comfortable waiting for a good answer.
On and on it goes. Jackson says that Ange could have closed the door – or stopped the door if you like – at the weekend and didn’t do it, but that’s a ridiculous statement and we all know it to be manifestly untrue.
There is no way this lot are letting up.
So we continue going round and round and round, trapped forever in this cycle, not knowing what is going to be thrown in at us next, knowing only that the moment we get it through on the other side that something will already be coming at us from another angle.
This is what it’s like when Celtic are on top.

Those rumours being started by none other than Fabrizio Romano, the man who earlier this season told us Juranovic was possibly on his way, and which James dismissed out of hand at the time.
