  1. All ,or most , of us have a job that we do ..just to survive.
Some of us love our job but, most, I would imagine, have feelings which range from ….
simple acceptance…. to downright hatred…. of what we do for a living.
Imagine then that you have been blessed with a talent …which takes you from the mundane and mediocre …to a place where you can earn a shit load of money …doing a job that keeps you healthy and potentially in the public eye.
How sad, therefore, to come across somebody like Rasmussen , who appears to enjoy taking the money without puting in too much effort…..
I can only say this to him….
I hope your next shite ..is a hedgehog….

    1. Ahh FFS a hedgehog!! ha ha ha, look i know he appears to be taking liberties but he does say nobody has come in for him and if he stays he will fight for a place, what can he do? walk away from a contract? would you?
Can we not give him to Alborg dirt cheap to get him off the wage list? Surely that would save us money in the long run?
Hope he proves us all wrong and bangs in 30 goals next season, can’t see it happening though, probably more chance of shi#ing a hedgeho….!

Hedgehogs – why can’t they just share the hedge?

      1. Peter will need to see a big plus balance on his excel spreadsheet before he would cut his losses. I’m sure he would take a cardiac before it would happen otherwise.

    2. I read it like you the first time. Found it quite a sad reflection on the modern player. But he’s got a contract. He moved last season. Maybe him being away proves the grass isn’t greener.

He’s a player on decent money I’m sure. That will be hard to shift.

  2. I’m not sure where you’re getting that from, Mike.

He says he’ll stick to the agreement and try and show Lenny he should be in the team. Surely that’s what we’re asking of him.

When he says he’s “taking it easy” I don’t think he’s talking about his approach to the game and sitting out his contract. I think he simply means he isn’t worried if he doesn’t find a new team because he feels he can fight for his Celtic place.

    1. True, but he’s also getting at he has a contract. At least he doesn’t mention charity work and children.

      1. True. What was that about? Bellamy could easily run a very good footy academy out there for what £5-600 a week, even a grand a week wouldn’t be more than loose change? I don’t know, it’s fantastic that he is putting his time and effort into such a fantastic cause and maybe it is costing him a bundle, just seemed a bit of a silly comment, but then im a bit of a pessimist, well done to him for running that charity though, life changing for the kids involved hopefully.

        1. 80 grand A YEAR should take care of ’13 kids’footy academy and feed & cloth & shelter their families AS WELL..who is he tryin tae kid??..if he came to celtic for 20 grand a week he’d have it paid for in month..its a feckin joke what these people get paid nowadays..20 grand a week is a million a year FFS?? how has it come about that makin a million a year is shite money and unacceptable? what a sad world full of greedy b*****ds we live in.

        2. He devalues his work by mentioning it when talking about his earnings. He just makes himself look foolish.

      2. He was pointing out that both parties have a contract to fulfill, nothing more. He’s stated he’ll do what’s expected of him while under that contract unless a club come in for him.

That’s what is expected of any player, so fair play to him.

  3. 80 grand A YEAR should take care of ’13 kids’footy academy and feed & cloth & shelter their families AS WELL..who is he tryin tae kid??..if he came to celtic for 20 grand a week he’d have it paid for in month..its a feckin joke what these people get paid nowadays..20 grand a week is a million a year FFS?? how has it come about that makin a million a year is shite money and unacceptable? what a sad world full of greedy b*****ds we live in..

    1. Ras is probably on a nought per week less than Bellamy. Still a decent wage more than I’ll probably earn in a life time.

Guys like Bellamy and his other Man City buddies are in a vortex, which doesn’t seek or understand reality. Though they make gestures like they do.

      1. He can get 60-80 grand a week in England or 25-30 a week at Celtic tops, that’s a massive difference, wasn’t brought up a Tim or anything so i can understand why he wants to stay at Cardiff.
